Res Black.Girls.Rock!

Due to a long struggle to get the music to her fans, Black.Girls.Rock! is musically and physically a testament to Res’ strength and perseverance. Based on mood boards I created for the album art, I ran with an idea dubbed “guerrilla graphics.” It’s a look based in strength, empowerment and blunt honesty that mirrors the themes of the album. This look was achieved with the use of bold and bright colors, painterly brush strokes and striking photography.
